1. The brainchild...sunrise over the pyramids "signature". Egypt is in Africa and the iconic Pyramids at Giza help to represent this vast and diverse continent and its art and people. Even though I'm located in Southern Africa I still look to the Pyramids for a sense of identity and belonging. Also as a way to bridge the divide between fine art and graphic design Egyptian Hieroglyphs can provide important pointers.

3. A sample of the 2000 sheets of paper. Put me off pencil for life. Planning on a comparative study of this enormous body of work that's busy gathering dust (in the not too distant future). I'm so pleased that through this post the online community can get a feel for it and its diversity. 

Where to next? I'm focused on some larger oil paintings and am trying out oil pastels for a rounded view of colour. Open to trying watercolour and acrylics too. But I hope this brief introduction to my history as an artist and designer provides you the viewer with breathing room when the entire body of work finds its way to a wider audience.
